- Tura New Music: Umbrella organisation for new music in Western Australia,
promoting such events as the Scale Variable chamber music series,
the Totally Huge New Music Festival and Club Zho.
- Cat Hope: Composer, musician and sound artist. Energetic and
creative participant in the new music scene.
- Lindsay Vickery: Western Australian composer and academic, currently based
in Singapore.
- Ross Bolleter: World renowned exponent of the ruined piano, and founder
of the World Association for Ruined Piano Studies.
- Pablo Dali: AKA Matt Roesner. Noise/electronica artist making a name
for himself on the world stage.
- Jambird:
This collaboration between choreographer Chrissie Parrott and
composer Jonathan Mustard has already produced some fantastic
works, and more are promised for the future.
- Abe Dunovits: Versatile artist and musician, with his finger in a number
of pies. Trading on the new music scene as Ray Unit.
- Tetrafide
Percussion: Perth's premier percussion
ensemble, all of them virtuosic and exciting performers.
- Nova Ensemble: Also home for David Pye's Pi ensemble.
- Meupe: Experimental music label that also promotes
the occasional interesting
gig around town. Its latest project is the
Ambassador from Eveywhere series.
- Nofidelity: New noise
label, with a few limited edition releases so far, but more on the
way. Also puts on gigs.
- Adeptsound: Dark ambient label
that jumped out of the blue one day. Only one release so far -
Eotvos, by Zilverhill.
- Heartless
Robot Productions: Yet another opportunity for Perth
experimental musicians to strut their stuff. A couple of great
releases so far.
- Adam Trainer: Guitarist and member of the indie pop band Radarmaker. He also plays drums in the live incarnation of the Ghost of 29 Megacycles and makes music on his own, releasing it on his own Wilting Flower Label.
